Inspired by an autism related Twelfth Day of Christmas poem that I saw on Instagram today written by the Autism Society San Diego, I thought I would write one about Jude. Feel free to amend it for your children in the comments box, I’d love to see all your creativity!
So here goes…and please feel free to sing it to the correct tune. It kind of fits.
On the Twelfth Day of Christmas our Jude gave to us…
Twelve stolen chocolates
Eleven scraps of paper
Ten flappy hands
Nine “doooors opening”
Eight “what’s for lunch?” es
Seven Council phone calls
Six complaint letters
Fiiiivve IEP targets!
Four lost socks
3 tracky bottoms
2 bowls of cereal
And a trashed bedroom full of ripped up booooooks
Pretty accurate, non?
