Animal Print
Animal print is everywhere this season. From leopard to snake, tiger to zebra, these fiery prints have filled the catwalks. The great thing about this trend is it can be worn in loads of different ways, so have fun and experiment. If you want to be bold, go for a leopard print coat or dress that will really make a statement. If you prefer to stick to subtle, incorporate some print into your accessories. Sharp Lines
Pleats have made a massive comeback for AW18, hurrah! You’ll find the trend most used for mid length skirts in a pretty variety of materials and colours. This wardrobe staple can quickly transform any outfit from day to night – dress it down with a comfy jumper or style it up with a glittery cami top for your upcoming Christmas party.
If skirts aren’t your thing – opt for a sharp cut tailored trouser instead which are fabulously flattering for any shape and size. Brands such as Damart offer a great range of trousers which are versatile and can be dressed up or down for any occasion!
High Shine
The high shine trend has been spotted across the runways in leather and leather-look coats, skirts and trousers this season. Every woman’s wardrobe should contain a staple leather or faux-leather item, whether it’s a jacket, skirt or pair of trousers. The great thing about leather is it will always be effortlessly chic and sophisticated, so you don’t need to fear that your investment piece will quickly turn from fashion trend to fashion faux-pas in a years’ time. So, invest in that glossy jacket – you will rock it for years to come!
Mighty Metallic
Get ready for glitz and glamour – the mighty metallics are back for the festive season! Make sure you stand out from the crowd in some statement sparkle. The high street is full of bright and bold options from silver sequin dress to gold glittery heels. If you’re not one for head to toe sparkle, opt for more subtle shimmer through accessories – think glitzy earrings, necklaces and bracelets. This trend is perfect for the party season!
